Architect (ETSABarcelona, 1995), specialized in envelope technologies and materiality. Currently teaching at the Sustainability Unit, ETSALS Barcelona and at the module “Resilient Envelopes” in the Master of Advanced Ecological Buildings and Biocities, IAAC since 2019, he was professor at Design Studio, Barcelona Architecture Centre (2016-19), at BIArch (2010-12) and at Tallers ETSALS, Tarragona (2006-09). Currently based in Barcelona after working in Basel, Hamburg and Madrid as an associate of Herzog & de Meuron, Basel (1999-2011). He collaborated as well with Josep Lluís Mateo, MAP architects, Barcelona (1992-97).
Architect (ETSABarcelona, 1995). She collaborated with Herzog & de Meuron, Basel (2000-11). Between 1997 and 1999, she worked with Josep M. Bosch, Architect, Barcelona, as project and construction manager. She collaborated as well with Josep Lluis Mateo, MAP architects, Barcelona (1994-1997), where she took part on several competitions and projects. During her studies, she collaborated with the architectural studio Eduard Giménez, Barcelona (1990-94).
Doctor of Science of ETH Zürich by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (2018) and Master in Emergent Technologies and Design by the Architectural Association School of Architecture (2011), he obtained his Diploma in Architecture at Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (2003). Previous to his current academic position, he was Adjunct Professor of “Digital Culture” at the Barcelona Institute of Architecture (BIArch) and Lecturer at the Swiss Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). He is currently Assistant Professor and Researcher at Rice University (Houston, USA). In parallel to his academic duties, he gained experience in practice by collaborating with international firms such as FOA (London, UK), Abalos & Herreros (Madrid, Spain), SHoP Architects (New York,USA) and Herzog & de Meuron (Basel, Switzerland).
Architect (UNIFE Ferrara, 2016). Postgraduate degree in Architecture and sustainable construction (ZIGURAT Barcelona, 2021). She studied at the ENSAP, Bordeaux (2014) as an exchange student, through the Erasmus program and at the Universidad central de Ecuador, Quito (2015) through the Atlante program for the master’s thesis research. She collaborated with V.Vallerani , Ravenna (2016) and with Vilalta studio, Barcelona (2017). She was part of the team of Archikubik, Barcelona (2018-2021).
Architect (POLSL Gliwice, 2020). She studied at the UPV, Valencia (2019) as an exchange student, through Erasmus program. She collaborated with Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes, Paris (2017-18), Grupa Concept, Katowice (2020-21), Berger und Parkkinen Architekten, Vienna (2021) and Wolfang Tschapeller Architekt (2021-23).
Architect (ETSA U. Navarra 2011). After different experiences as intern across Europe (Arrokabe arquitectos (Sp), NOWA (It) & TD architects (At) collaborated for MR&A (Michel Racheter & Associates) 2012 and PI-SA Architectes 2017 in Geneva. He worked in Barcelona as a Project Manager for cubic33group (2019-2021) and for architech Barcelona (2021-2023).
Architect (ETSALS, 2025). She collaborated with GAC3000, Barcelona (2023-24) and has been with xmade since 2024.
Architect (TU Berlin Architektur Fakultat, 2002). Collaborator with xmade since 2024. She works as a consultant for facades and envelopes and has been collaborating with xmade (material and envelope design s.l.) since 2024. During her studies she worked with David Chipperfield architects bcn. From 2005 to 2012 she worked with ROOMZ architects and RBSgroup as architect and project manager. She spent a year with RBSgroup Germany Project office Rhein-Main, Wiesbaden. From 2013 to 2017 she worked as project manager in collaboration with Barozzi Veiga S.L.P. From 2018 to 2019 she worked for Isern Associats participating in the elaboration of construction documents and facade design, and from 2020 to 2024 with Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos as assistant in the design process, elaboration of construction and site documents for a new hotel, focusing mainly on the coordination of the interior design with the architectural project.
