The proposal for the new psychiatric hospital in Geneva, designed by STUDIOPEZ, has been awarded third prize in the EVIPSY international competition, with xmade as part of the project team.

The proposal reimagines the psychiatric hospital as a cluster of interconnected buildings, replacing the traditional institutional model with a village-like environment that prioritises wellbeing, human scale and a close relationship with the surrounding landscape. Natural light, open spaces and strong visual connections to nature create a calm and supportive setting for patients, families and staff.

xmade contributed its expertise to the development of the façade design, supporting the integration of the architectural concept, environmental performance and technical requirements into a coherent envelope solution.
