Abby Kortrijk, a visual arts museum designed by Barozzi Veiga and TAB Architects, has received the FAD International Award 2026, which recognises the work of architects and practices from the Iberian Peninsula on projects built around the world, with xmade as part of the project team.

The project introduces a new museum volume that establishes a subtle dialogue with the historic Abbey, balancing a contemporary architectural language with the site’s cultural heritage.

xmade contributed its technical expertise to the development of the façade design and helped ensure the precise execution of the project’s complex geometries, materiality and construction systems.
