Die Schweizer Botschaft in Addis Ababa, Äthiopien, befindet sich auf einem bestehenden Campus. Die neue Botschaft - unterteilt in vier Gebäude - bestehet aus Kanzlei, Residenz, einem Mehrzweckgebäude und einem kleinen Gebäude für Mitarbeitende. Diese sind im obersten Geschoss durch eine Plattform verbunden, wobei Öffnungen in der Plattform für Sichtbezüge herstellen. Durch das Anpassen der Gebäude an die Steigung des Geländes, variieren diese in ihrer Höhe zwischen einem und drei Stockwerken.
Das Projekt basiert auf einem Raster von 2.60m, diesem folgt die Betonstruktur mit einer Kassettendecke, runde Stahlstützen ordnen sich alle 2.60m entlang der Fassade an. Die Fassade besteht aus gerasterten raumhohen Verglasungselementen mit Stahlprofilen, sie sind in feste und zu öffnende Elemente von je 1.30m Breite unterteilt. Zur besseren Orientierung sind die Eingangstüren mit einer Rahmenverbreiterung gekennzeichnet.

The Swiss Embassy in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, is located on an existing campus. The new embassy, consisting of the chancellery, the residence, a multi-purpose building and a small building for staff members, is divided into four buildings that are connected by a platform on the last level. Openings in the platform allow for visual connections. Adapting to the inclination of the site, the buildings vary in height between one and three floors.
The project is based on a grid of 2.60m., the concrete structure with a coffered ceiling follows the grid, and round steel pillars are placed along the facade every 2.60m. The facade is composed from floor-to-ceiling high glazing elements with steel profiles. The elements are sub-divided into fixed and openable elements of 1.30m width. For a better orientation, the entrance doors are marked with a wider steel frame.
