The proposal by Josep Ferrando Architecture has been awarded with the first prize in the open competition for the building of the Policia Local in Manlleu. An exposed timber structure generates a compact volume and a ready-to-build modulated envelope system, consisting on prefabricated timber and glass elements, including a longitudinal skylight, that in combination with the facade ensures natural lighting and crossed ventilation in the interior spaces.
